This characterful 1930's semi detached house has been thoughtfully extended and now comprises around 2200 sqft of living space and also has a stunning garden room of a further 400 sft with its own w/c.
This property is all about its cavernous living space, and it has plenty of it for a growing family, or inter-generational living. Set over three levels, on the ground floor we have two good sized receptions rooms at the front and rear, a spacious 'L' shaped kitchen/diner, a very hand utility room and downstairs guest w/c. There is also a guest bedroom which would also make an ideal study/home office - perfect from those who are working from home.On the first floor, accomodation comprises four bedrooms, unusually, all of which are doubles, a beautifully three piece appointed family bathroom and further shower room. Lastly, on the top (2nd floor) is a stunning, self contained master suite with its own three piece bathroom with bathtub and full height double glazed doors to the Juliet balcony and its West facing aspect overlooking the rear garden.
Outside:To the front, there is ample off street parking on the driveway for two to three cars and to the rear, a private West facing garden with a large patio, leading to a lawned area and then to a beautifully finished garden room of just under 400 sqft with its own bar and w/c. Its dark framed contemporary bi-fold doors fully open up the front aspect of the building, making for a perfect place to entertain your friends and family, or a great TV room for the kids or perhaps somewhere from where your can run your own business from home.
Larkshall Road is around a 7 minute walk from North Chingford's Station Road.If you lived here, you are around a 10 minute walk away from Chingford Station with its links to the Victoria Line at Walthamstow Central (15 mins) and London's Liverpool Street (25 mins) and because it's the end of the line, you'll nearly always get a seat.
For shopping and eating out, Station Road is a short stroll from your door with an excellent selection of independent shops, bars and restaurants and for those who love the outdoors, the delights of Epping Forest are just a short walk away at the end of station Road. It's a Mecca for walkers, cyclists and runners using the network of leafy trails that weave through the ancient woods of Epping Forest. There is also and excellent choice of both private and state schools within catchment.
From the owners:This has been such a wonderful family home. There is so much space for everyone. Everybody has had their own bedroom and there have been no arguments about toilets and bathrooms here in the mornings! Having an entire laundry room space to wash and dry all the laundry has been incredible. The loft room is huge. Light, spacious and peaceful with lots of storage in the eves. The large outside paved area is versatile and has been a great place for a summer swimming pool every year! The location is round the corner from Chingford C of E primary and St Marys and a short walk to Heathcote secondary school. Chingford Plain, Epping Forest and Connaught Water are such wonderful places to enjoy and only a short walk away. We are sad to be leaving this wonderful home but happy that new owners will be able to love it and enjoy it in future years.
